Georgia is charming at any time of the year. In summer it attracts tourists with its sunny subtropical climate and unique mountain trails, a plenty of which are still undiscovered after so many years. In autumn it treats tired trekkers with the best wine which is so various here that everyone would find something to their taste. In spring it strikes with reviving nature, with water taking over the nature again. And in winter? Except for the great conditions for skiing which are getting better every year it's also a wonderful place to celebrate the New Year

Join us for a short but intensive New Year's celebration in Georgia. Except for celebrating the New Year's Eve we will also have a chance to see some of the extremely important Georgian historical relics in completely different weather conditions and, moreover, to witness the majesty of Mount Kazbek in winter. We will also relax in the Georgian desert, visit charming Signagi and will discover a completely different face of the star of the Causcasus - Tbilisi.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1
[UIA] Meeting at the airport in Warsaw at 4 AM. We will fly to Kyiv (the passport is required) and from there we will take a flight to Tbilisi. We will arrive in Tbilisi airport in the afternoon and will continue our journey to wonderful Kakheti, to the desert surrounding village Udabno where we'll stay overnight.
[LOT] Meeting at the airport in Warsaw at 8 PM. We will take an overnight flight to Georgia and will immediately head to Udabno to take a rest there.

DAY 2
Relaxing in a pieceful place far from a big city fuss. A lazy walk and sightseeing of the David Gareja monastery complex on the Georgian-Armenian border. In the evening we will organize the first party to learn more about each other and, morever, in case the weather is good we'll make the last bonfire of the year.

DAY 3 
Transfer and sightseeing in Kakheti. We'll make our way through the desert to end up in Kakheti's wonderful vineyards. We will also visit the administrative centre of Kakheti,Telavi and will take a look at its most important and spectacular monuments – church Ikalto and Bodbe monastery. We will spend the night in Signagi drinking delicious local wine.

DAY 4 
Transfer to Tbilisi and sightseeing in the capital of Georgia. After the lunch and a break we have to get ready for the long night. We will celebrate the New Year's Eve in an adorable restaurant with live traditional music and dances and unlimited amount of wine and chacha.

DAY 5
We will definitely start the day late :-) In the afternoon we will continue sightseeing the city and hopefully will have a chance to see a wonderful view from the highest hill of the city Mtatsminda. We will visit the most important historical treasures such as Narikala Fortress and the Old Town. In the evening a nice festive dinner will be waiting for us.

DAY 6
A long but unbelievably picturesque transfer. Making our way through the Georgian Military Road to Stepantsminda we will also take a look at the old Georgian capital Mtskheta and the Ananuri castle. Stepantsminda is the last town at the border at the foot of the magnificent mount of Kazbek.  The volunteers will also have a chance to hike up from the side of the glacier to see the unique location of the Gergeti Trinity Church. If the weather is good we will take an exciting walk to the Gveleti waterfalls which are getting covered with ice in winter. On the way back we will visit Georgia's winter capital - Gudauri.

DAY 7
[UIA] Farewell to Tbilisi. The last walk in the city and shopping for souvenirs. At 2 PM we will depart to the airport. At 5:30 PM the flight to Warsaw with transer in Kyiv. At 8:30 PM arrival in Warsaw.
[LOT] Farewell to Tbilisi. We will depart to the airport early in the morning. At 6:40 AM flight to Warsaw.

 ACCOMODATION:
During the trip we will spend 3 nights in guesthouses and 3 nights in hotels with separate bathrooms. We will sleep in double rooms (though the groups of friends or individual tourists of the same gender can be accomodated in the shared rooms for 3 or 4 persons) In case you want to have a single room you should additionally pay 1000 PLN for the whole period of the trip

 FOOD:
The price includes breakfast as well as lunch and dinner every day as well as the festive dinner.

 TRANSPORT:
During the whole trip there will be a
comfortable minibus or bus with AC at our disposal.

 GROUP:
The more people we are the more fun we'll have! The minimum number of participants is 8.

 WEATHER:
The places we are going to visit are very different in terms of the weather. In the High Caucasus the temperature during this period can decrease to -15°C, while Kakheti and Tbilisi are the warmest regions of Georgia. Usually at the end of December and beginning of January the temperature is fluctuating between 0°C and 10°C. It's usually very windy in this period of time in the desert around Udabno.

 FLIGHT:
The starting point of the trip is Warsaw Chopin Airport. For our foreign clients we also offer an opportunity to book the direct flight to Georgia from any place in Europe for an additional payment. Due to the transfer in Kyiv the passpor is required.
